Autumn's in the Air

This is the best time of the year to scrapbook! I just love everything about fall. The colors, smells, weather, and Halloween. B2N2 Scraps has Autumn's in the Air releasing today and the colors are AMAZING! I just love the green and blue she chose to add in with the fall colors. Just beautiful!

Digi-Scrap Defined

When I first dove into the online world of digital scrapbooking, I was confused and turned off by all the jargon I didn't understand. I vowed if I made a blog, it would be understandable by others, so here are some things that helped me out! Feel free to ask if you ever need anything else defined.

STS: Stuff to Scrap (store, forum, gallery)
SNP: Scraps N Pieces (designers: store, forum, gallery)
CT: Creative Team (make layouts for designers)
Kit: papers, embellishments, alphabets, and possibly word art in files to be used to make your own digital pages
QP: Quick Page (just add pictures)
LO: Layout
PSE: PhotoShop Elements
MMS: My Memories Suite
Blog Train: Each month, designers use a coordinated theme to each create a few digi-scrap supplies, which are linked together in a train and available for free downloads during the month.
Speed Scrap: in the STS chatroom or forum, a designer gives instructions every 10 minutes for an hour to help you create a new LO, and gives you a prize for completion
CU: Commercial Use. This means you can sell this item. Designers use CU items to make their kits.
PU: Personal Use. Mose kits you buy are for personal use only, not for commercial products.
S4H: Scrap for Hire. Many scrappers get paid to do layouts for others. You'll often see kits labeled at PU and S4H ok, which means you can use them for personal use or scrap for hire.
S4O: Scrap for Others. Maybe you're kind enough to scrap for others for free instead of for hire. Most designers allow you to do this with their kits too.
