March at SNP

Even though the calendar says March, it still feels like winter in so many places right now.  When will we ever start to feel some warm spring air?  Around Scraps N Pieces, we have been keeping ourselves warm by designing some amazing products for you, our awesome members and customers.

Are you a fan of the art journaling style of scrapping?  If you are, then you are going to LOVE the store's March collab kit.  It's called Express Yourself, and it is awesome!

Do you know the definition of earworm?  It's defined as, "a catchy song or tune that runs continually through a person's mind."  And I think the music-themed Bits N Pieces for March will be running through your mind all month until you snatch them all up.  The pieces are just $1 each the first week, and then will regular price and possibly bundled up into full kits.  And don't forget our Bit N Pieces month-long challenge; snag some great kits at a low price and earn forum points in the process.

Our members mean so very much to us.  The 3-year old son of one our members was just recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Cancer last week. This is something they would have never thought would happen to their family.  It is Stage 4, as this type of cancer is often not symptomatic until that time. He will have to go through some aggressive chemo, then surgery to remove his tumor, then more chemo. There is a 40-50% survival rate, but his doctors are very optimistic. This family has 3 other small children and a new baby on the way. Together, the Scraps N Pieces designers developed an amazing kit called Little Warrior, to help raise funds that will cover some of their costs at this time. This kit is a beautiful children’s hospital themed collab that chronicles the journey that this little warrior is facing. All proceeds from the sale of this kit will go to this little family to help with expenses.

Charity Collab for Queen Wild Scraps

If any of you were following the story about (QueenWild) Lahni's husband John when he was electrocuted on the job last month you will already know this story.  For those of you that haven't heard here is the story.

On Wednesday October 23rd, John was working in Banff. He was up in the bucket, working with streat lights and received an electric shock. He was taken to the hospital via STARS air ambulance. He was put into a medically induced coma for 24 hours as he had been without oxygen for 5-15 minutes and the hypothermic state was to help minimize the possible brain damage.  He is expected to make a full recovery and is out of the hospital and back home with his family at this time.

We came together as designers here and from some other stores to show our support for Lahni and John by making this kit to help raise some money for their lodging and food while John was in the hospital and to help with donations to STARS - the air ambulance that most probably saved John's life.

Join with us to purchase this beautiful kit "Stand By Me" to help raise funds for the family and STARS.

Pray for Haley

For most of us, childhood days are seen as a carefree and joyous time. It's time to run, play, and hang out with friend - to grow up and find our place in the world. Unfortunately, not every child is given the same opportunities. Pray for Haley is collaboration kit made by some of the finest artists in the digital scrap-booking community to help a young girl in need. Haley was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and is missing the current school year because of her treatments. Her strong will and determination has allowed her to keep up with her school work and she looks forward to the day she can return to the classroom and her friends. The profits from Pray for Haley will be given to this courageous girl and her family to help with mounting medical costs. When the time comes to scrap all the joyous moments in the young person in your life this kit will offer you a multitude of options for beautiful scrap book pages as well as help a young girl in need.

We have split this kit up as separate pieces if you feel like you can only donate a little bit, as a Big Bundle, and for the greatest savings, we also have a Mega Bundle option to get everything.  Please click on slideshow below to go to the store and help this little girl in need.

Charity Kit

Almost a week ago, a tragic accident took the life of an adorable little 6 year old boy named Gabe.  To help with the hospital and funeral costs, approximately 22 designers came together and designed this huge kit - A Gift for Gabe.  It includes a full alpha set, 68 papers, 104 elements, 3 templates, and 6 word art - all for $7.99.  It's available in the Scraps N' Pieces store.
